The morning of August 26th, it was a beautiful day mid 70's in the morning. I remember not getting a lot of sleep the night before( good thing you cant tell in the photos). My stomach was in knots all morning. I'm sure Levi was going through similar feelings, but you would have to ask him. For months before Levi and I drove all over San diego looking for places to have our wedding, however at that time we were planning on getting married after his graduation from bootcamp, so we were looking for places that would hold more than just the 12 people who attended. When we decided to tie the knot before he left, our location ideas changed drastically. Some things stayed the same, well one thing, I wanted to be outside, I mean come on we lived in SOCAL why shouldn't it be outside? We went to a couple different parks, Cabrillo, Flyn springs, Balboa, but in the end, we decided on a spot. Mission Dam, I had grown up adventuring around this area, and I absolute love it. The thing that makes me really happy about choosing this location, is that we can go back and visit this place whenever we want, and don't have to worry about it every being closed.

The group heading down the the spot I chose, it was a tad hard to walk in heels |
Me, another reason why I love the dam area, it is always green |
My daddy, this is actually my absolute favorite photo of us of all time |
Pastor Robert openend in prayer. I felt so privileged to have him there. My dad is holding out his phone that his parents are on, it ended up in Levi's pocket so they could hear the ceremony. |
Robert explained that the ring is not only a symbol of our eternal love and commitment to each other , but should also be a reminder to each other that each and every day, or whenever we notice our rings, to pray for each other. I thought it was awesome. |
Its official, I'm his and he is mine |
you cant really tell in this photo, but they were throwing long stemmed grass at us instead of rice, I love my family. |
This family will always have a special place in my heart. I feel so blessed to have them be a part of my life for the past few years, those two boys may have given me a few headaches at times, but I would not love them as much if they were any different than who they are. |

The Alumbaughs |
The Whartons (I love adore how the boys and dad have the same smile) |
I have no idea what we were looking at, but I'm glad my daddy captured this moment |
I was trying to coax one of the little boys over to give me a hug |
photo shoot time, I proudly admit that I got my photography skill from my daddy |
I love the background of this photo more than I actually like the way we look in it, sometimes I thin I should just crop us out of it |
Both sides of the family |
I thank God every day for bringing Levi into my life, I honestly have no clue where I would be today if it were not for him.
Thank you for sharing this day with all of us. You captured it beautifully!
